in a social/behavioral science field (including education, public health, social work, psychology) with at least 5 years of experience required. All other related duties deemed necessary by the PDM&E Director or management.Communicate job functions to statistician/methodologist and assist statistician/methodologist with data conceptualization.Mentor and supervise PDM&E students and staff with all PDM&E related activities.Write and review proposals or sections of proposals relevant to research, monitoring, and evaluation.Coordinate and collaborate with relevant stakeholders for the timely execution of grant submissions.Develop quantitative, qualitative and mixed methods research instruments and research/evaluation protocols.Maintain continuous monitoring and evaluation activities, assist with grant submissions, institutional advancement activities, and participation in conferences for the institution’s Community Engagement and all grant-funded programs.Develop a broader program/project evaluation agenda that focuses on clinical education of behavioral health professionals-in-training and on experiential learning.Presentation may be at regional or national conferences or internal audiences in both scholarly and public forums. Publications may include peer-review journals and/or scholarly/professional journals or other print media. Document and disseminate the results of research and/or development projects through publication and presentation.

Lead data collection, entry, cleaning, and verification work with individuals to design, build and maintain databases and associated forms and queries and produce reports and visualizations for analysis and reporting.Design, implement, and oversee all evaluative research on program effectiveness for WJC’s community programs, community contracts, and funded programs.The Assistant Director of Research will play a key role in supporting the Director of Program Development, Monitoring, and Evaluation with the design and implementation of evaluative research on program effectiveness for Community Engagement, government contracts and grant-funded programs at William James College.
